Approve or reject drivers expense claims
New
Expenses that drivers submit from the Driver App now arrive in Mission Control with the receipt attached. Approve one to add it to the booking as a charge, or reject it with a reason the driver sees.
- Web
- For operators and admins
More detail
- Go to Bookings → Expenses. The tab shows how many claims are waiting.
- Choose a pending claim to see the receipt, the route, the driver's reason and how it compares with the booking's charges.
- Click Approve, check or change the agreed amount, add a note if you like, and confirm. To turn it down, click Reject and give a reason.
Before you approve, the window shows how the booking total will change. If a card customer will be charged the difference you'll see a warning, and lowering an amount isn't refunded automatically. An approved expense shows on the booking as an additional charge that you can untick like any other. Claims also appear under Driver Expenses on the booking, and after each review the next pending claim opens.
Book the return trip with an unconfirmed booking
New
When you make an unconfirmed booking you can now book its return trip straight away. Both trips stay unconfirmed and are linked as a pair, so each booking shows the other.
- Web
- For operators
More detail
- Fill in the booking form as usual.
- Open the Make Booking menu and, under Unconfirmed, choose Unconfirmed & Return. The outbound trip is saved and the form swaps the pickup and drop-off for the return.
- Check the return details and click Make Unconfirmed Bookings.
While you book the return, the form shows which booking it pairs with. Both trips appear in the unconfirmed list. Confirm each trip on its own; the customer gets a confirmation email for each. No Driver Available bookings don't have a return option.
Choose how far ahead Overwatch shows unconfirmed bookings
New
You can now choose how far ahead the trips list looks for unconfirmed bookings, from your usual upcoming hours up to 30 days, so you can sort them out in good time. Unconfirmed bookings whose pickup time has passed always show.
- Web
- For operators
More detail
- On the Overwatch screen, click Filter.
- Tick Include unconfirmed bookings.
- Under Unconfirmed Look Ahead, choose Same as upcoming hrs, 1 day, 7 days, 15 days or 30 days, then click Apply.
Same as upcoming hrs is the default. With it, unconfirmed bookings follow the hours set on the Upcoming tab. Until now Overwatch always showed them up to 7 days beyond that, so choose 7 days to keep seeing them as before. Your choice is remembered in this browser, and a dot on the Filter button shows it's on.
Confirm bookings from Overwatch without losing your edits
Improved
The Confirm button now also appears on the booking form in Overwatch, and confirming saves your changes first. The customer gets one confirmation email with the right trip details, and a driver you preassigned stays on the booking.
- Web
- For operators
More detail
- Open an unconfirmed booking on the Overwatch screen.
- Make any changes you need.
- Click Confirm, next to Update.
Confirm checks the booking the same way Update does, so details such as the fare need filling in first. Before this change, confirming ignored any changes you hadn't saved and emailed the customer the old details, and a driver preassigned while the booking was unconfirmed was dropped.
Unconfirmed bookings past their pickup time are flagged
Improved
When an unconfirmed booking's pickup time passes, its row in the trips list now pulses and shows a red warning icon, so it doesn't get missed.
- Web
- For operators
More detail
The warning appears as soon as the pickup time passes, with no need to refresh. Hover over the icon to see "Unconfirmed and past pickup. Needs action." It goes away once the booking is confirmed or cancelled.
Spot non-compliant drivers on the map at a glance
Improved
Drivers on the map are now green when they're compliant and red when they're not, so you can spot problems without opening each driver. You can also filter the map to show only compliant or only non-compliant drivers.
- Web
- For operators
More detail
- Go to Drivers → Map.
- Green markers are compliant drivers and red markers are non-compliant. Hover over a marker to see its status.
- To show only one group, click Filter, choose Compliant or Non-compliant under Compliance, and click Save.
All the map filters are now in the Filter panel: driver status, compliance, locked-out drivers, show all drivers and ride type. Changes apply only when you click Save, and Reset puts them back to the defaults. Search stays above the list. A dot on the Filter button shows when a filter is on. You can also drag the line between the driver list and the map to resize them.
Driver suggestions now show on new bookings
Fixed
When you take a new booking, the form now suggests the nearest drivers next to the pickup time, so you can see who's closest before you save. The flight ETA button also shows on new bookings that have flight details.
- Web
- For operators
More detail

Mission Control → Booking form → Driver Suggestions Use the arrows on the suggestion to step through up to five of the nearest drivers.
Upcoming and Past hours accept whole numbers only
Fixed
The Upcoming and Past hour boxes on the Overwatch trips list no longer accept decimals or show "NaN". Upcoming goes up to 120 hours and Past up to 72.
